Molasses Traders

Molasses is a byproduct of the sugar cane industry. The syrup is produced following the removal of raw sugar from the sugar cane. Molasses is used for feeding to livestock not only as a source of energy but also to:
  • improve palatability
  • encourage intake of bitter nutrients
  • reduce dust and fines in a mix
  • low cost ingredient
The following table shows the typical nutrient levels of molasses.
